Cheryl “Jan” Abercrombie, age 59 of Carrollton, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016. She was born April 17, 1957 in Anchorage, Alaska to Maxine Stone Abercrombie and the late, and Jerry Glynn Abercrombie. She graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 1974 and after many years of service retired from Bellsouth Mobility Company. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her sister, Jill Abercrombie. Survivors include her mother, Maxine Abercrombie of Carrollton; brothers, Glynn Abercrombie of Carrollton, Steve Abercrombie of Warner Robins, and Bobby Abercrombie of Carrollton; and two nieces and five nephews. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM from Martin & Hightower Heritage Chapel with Rev. Thomas Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in Union Campground Cemetery.
