MRS. MAGGIE R. ABEL, 98, Dixiana, who died Friday, was a native of Bradford and lived in Birmingham most of her life. She was a member of Bradford United Methodist Church 50 years. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Bradford United Methodist Church, with burial in Bethel Cemetery, Roebuck Chapel directing. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Claude Sharpe, Mrs. Mamie Wadsworth and Mrs. Kate Bauer, all of Birmingham; two sons, Charlie Abel, Birmingham, and Andy Abel, Bradford; four sisters, Mrs. Mae Bates, Mrs. Ella Sackrider and Mrs. Fannie Self, all of Birmingham and Mrs. Willie Sinback, Hampton, Ga., and a brother, Tom Cooper, Bradford.
