Mrs. Emma Abbs, 84, Native of Town of Forest, Dies At Home
Mrs. Emma Abbs, 84, died at 10 p.m. Thursday at her home, 363 Emma Street.
Born Sept. 30, 1851, in the town of Forest, she was a life long resident of the county. Emma Ottery was married Sept. 25, 1875, to Edward S. Abbs, who died April 4, 1928. After their marriage the couple resided on a farm in Eldorado for 33 years and 16 years ago moved to this city.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank Dilts of Wautoma; a son, Fred H. Abbs of Oshkosh; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. James Jones of the Town of Lamartine.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday from the Candlish Chapel with the Rev. A. W. Raabe, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Rosendale Cemetery.

Funeral Services For Mrs. Emma Abbs Are Held From Candlish Chapel Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Abbs, who died Thursday at her home, 363 Emma Street, were held at 10:30 a.m. today from the Candlish Chapel with the Rev. A. W. Raabe, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Rosendale Cemetery. Pallbearers were Howard Jones, E. Estabrook, Peter Feudner, Frank Abbs, Frank Bonham and Roy Monroe. Among those attending were Mr. and Mrs. f. L. Dilts and son of Wautoma, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dilts of Menasha and Mrs. William Allen of Waupun.
