BODY IS FOUND IN BRUSH HUT
DISCOVERY SOLVES DISAPPEARANCE OF MRS. BEULAH ABBOTT IN SAGE COUNTY
Ephrata, Washington - May 20
The mysterious disappearance last February of Mrs. Beulah Abbott, 58, from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robbins, 45 miles southeast of here, was solved when her body was bound late yesterday by a range rider named Ross.
Identification was made by relatives through a heavy coat and shoes. The body was found huddled under a crude brush shelter near Goose Lake, 12 miles from the Robbins home.
Mrs. Abbott wandered away from her parents home about February 15. It is believed she became lost among the sagebrush hills. An intensive search was made by officers and family.
The body was returned to the Robbins home last night by Coroner Lowell B. Vall, Deputy Sheriff Ray Deycous, State Patrrolman Herbert Jenkins, and neighbors.
