19 Mar 1908 – The Daily Chronicle
• Mrs. Emeline Abbott died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John E. Lansing at 2 o'clock this afternoon, aged eighty-five years, she had been ill with paralysis for more than three years and during that time been a great sufferer. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lansing, Mrs. John Davis and Mrs. George Bickford. The funeral announcement will appear tomorrow.

• The funeral of Mrs. Emeline Abbott will be held at the residence of John E. Lansing, Sunday, afternoon at 2:30. Rev. R. J. Chase will officialate and the burial will be at Oakridge.

• Funeral services for the late Mrs. Emeline Abbott were held from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J. Lansing Saturday at 2:30 o'clock. Rev J. R. Chase officiated and interment was given in Oakridge.
