Funeral services for Granville Buddy Abbott, 59, of Cottonwood Point, who died June 29th in the Pemiscot County Memorial Medical Center, were held July 1st at 2 p.m. in the Cottonwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Alvin McGill officiating. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery.
He was born Dec. 2nd, 1916, the son of the late David Abbott and Ollie Alsup Abbott.
Survivors include his wife, Ola Hall; one son, Toby Abbott of Greenwood Miss.; one daughter, Myria Conway of Greenwood Miss., three sisters, Maude Cook of Portageville, Blanche Horner of Cottonwood Point, and Drusilla Taylor of St. Pauls, Calif.; one brother, Perry Abbott of Temple City, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
