At the young age of 22 years, 10 months, 15 days Uncle Peter went home to be with The Lord.
He was rigging a drag parachute in the tail of one of the Air Force Jets. While many feet in the air a gust of wind came up and blew him off the tail assembly. He was pronounced dead at the VA Hospital in Saginaw, Michigan. He was Based at Whurtsmyth Air Force Base, located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This Air Force Base has since shut down and is no longer active.
