Abdul recieved his educatin from the Newark Public School system.
Abdul accepted christ into his life at a young age and really enjoyed spreading the word to others he came in contact with.
Abdul, affectionately known as "Dubird", was a very quiet, laid back, funny and playful person. He was also known to be quite the ladies man. Bird always valued the time he spent with his family,esopecially his three young children and 1 on the way. Bird always had a way of letting people know he was present wherever he went. HE WAS A MAN WITH A VERY SERIOUS PERSONA BUT HAD A GOOD HEART AND RADIANT SMILE TO GO WITH IT.
Due to his untimely passing, he leaves to mourn 4 children: Kasim, Amir, Sheryl and Abdul Ali-Shawn Billups. his great granfather, Robert Mcgraw: his grandfather, Josh Bond; 5 siblings, Al-misha, Terron Billups, Rashawn Bond, (Audrey & Shanda) Rochelle Darby, Alexis 'Oneal. 2 uncles 9 aunts 4 nephews, 3 nieces and many more family and friends........
He was preceded in death by his mother Sheryl Billups, his father william darby his grandmothers cathleen paterson, and Gladys Mcgraw; his sister Virginia Darby and an uncle George Darby.
