Bennie "Momma Jean" Bray was born on Dec. 31, 1946 in Monticello, Ark. to Bennet Hayes and M. Christine Ramsey Hayes. She passed from this life on her birthday, Dec. 31, 2012 at Paris,Texas at the age of 66.
"Momma Jean" was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a homemaker. She had lived in Idabel since 1995 after moving here from Arkansas. She enjoyed doing Arts & Crafts and especially raising her 2 four-legged children (cats) Fred & Charley.
She was married to Henry Austin Bray Sr. in Monticello, Ark. on Jan 23, 1967 who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her Father, 1 Sister; Mary Vinning and a grandson; Brandon Bray.
She leaves to cherish her memory; 4 Sons; Henry Austin Bray Jr. and wife, Shannon of Idabel; Bennet Bray and wife Christina of Nampa, Idaho; John Marshall Bray and wife Sonya of Minneapolis, Minn. and James Bray and wife Shelly of Broken Bow, Ok. 1 Daughter; Christina Estep and husband, Billy of Idabel. 1Brother; Carl Butch Hayes and wife Mollie of Monticello, Ark. 1 Sister; Joyce Chandler of Greenville, N.C., Two special friends; Connie McIntyre of Idabel and Sue Mills of DeQueen, AR.
32 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren also survive along with a host of Nieces, Nephews, and adopted children.
