Nicholas Aaron "Nick" Trebonik, age 18 of Powell, passed on suddenly Saturday, March 10, 2012. He was a senior at Worthington Kilbourne High School where he played football and volleyball, and was on the diving team. He worked at Lifetime Fitness as a lifeguard. He will be loved and missed deeply by all of family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Elizabeth Winters and his uncle Casey Winters. Nick is survived by his parents, Kim and Jeff Trebonik; siblings, Jessica, Victoria and Anthony; grandparents, Diane Trebonik of Mansfield, Ted and Sandy Trebonik of Mansfield and Wes Winters of Columbus; aunts, Libby Winters of Key West, FL, Dana Winters of Dublin, Jenni (Mike) Dover of Mansfield; uncle, Jonathan (Stella) Trebonik of California; Nick's cousins, Justin, Blake, Mikey, Alex, Thomas, Tiffany, Dominic, Cara and Sarah. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day. To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at close of day. If my parting has left a void. Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss. Ah yes, these things I too shall miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow; I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much; Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me; God wanted me now; he has set me free.
