He was a hard worker and worked as a truck driver and a roughneck until his health prevented him from working. Benny's favorite thing was watching old Westerns with his four legged companion, Spot. In his opinion, a Western must include lots of guns, horses and be in black and white. Benny was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather with great devotion to his family. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Walter Pratt; and cousin/friend Ron Dooley Sr. Lowell is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Sue Pratt of San Angelo; daughter Kathy Lovett and husband Colin of Fort Worth; son Tommy Pratt and wife Kathy of Mineral Wells; son Jimmy Pratt of San Angelo; daughters Cynthia Wells, Christie Slough and Debora Winegar and husband Dennis, all of Copperas Cove; sister-in-law Wanda Pratt of Mount Vernon; 14 grandchildren; 21 grandchildren; three nephews; and many good friends.
The family wishes to thank Interm Hospice for their care of Benny during his illness and want to extend a special thanks to Chaplin Ellen King, Christina, Cindy, Shelly and Laura for their love, care and compassion shown towards Benny (a.k.a. L.T.) and we will be forever grateful.
