MANHEIM TOWNSHIP MAN DIES SUDDENLY Isaiah P. Bankert, 49, Is Found Dead In Bed Funeral Saturday - Isaiah P. Bankert, Manheim township, near Brodbecks, was found dead in bed at his home this morning at 5:10 o'clock. He was aged 49 years. County Coroner L. U. Zech was notified and issued the death certificate attributing death to chronic myocarditis and chronic nephritis. Mr. Bankert was a son of Samuel and Sarah Presel Bankert and was born September 27, 1883. Surviving is his father, Samuel Bankert, Hobart; his wife, who before marriage was Katie Fuhrman; two children, Mary and Dorothy, at home; one grandchild; and the following brothers and sisters: Aaron Bankert, Penn township; Samuel Bankert, Jr., Hobart; John Bankert, Penn township; Claude Bankert and Daniel Bankert, Heidelberg; Clinton Bankert, Manheim township; Ralph Bankert, Moulstown; Emory Bankert, near, Glen Rock; Mrs. Wesley Markle, Brodbecks; Mrs. Jacob Dubbs, Hobart; Mrs. Harry Landis, Glen Rock; Mrs. George Rohrbaugh and Mrs. Andrew Snyder, Porters Sideling. The funeral will be held Saturday morning, with services conducted at the home at 9:30 o'clock and further services in the Black Rock Meetinghouse. The Rev. Noah Sellers and the Rev. A. S. Baugher will officiate. Burial will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church.
