Birth: Feb. 14, 1869
Jo Daviess County
Illinois, USA
Death: Jul. 6, 1886
Sheridan County
Kansas, USA

The names on the stone start with the earliest death, that being #1 Ellen(Marshall)Cressler, on the north side, #2 Fannie(Cressler)Foster on the east; #3 Jennie....on the south; and #4 Alzina...on the west.

Married: Abraham Lincoln "Link" Foster
11 Oct 1885 in Hoxie, Sheridan County KS
In her obituary of 25 June 1886, The Hoxie Democrat reported that Fannie had been sick only a short time and that her death was "caused by post-partum difficulty". A Foster family history states that she died during childbirth with the whooping cough. There is an "infant Foster" buried in this cemetery(Adell). Perhaps this is Fannie and "Link" Foster's baby. Fannie is buried beside her mother, Ellen(Marshall)Cressler, her sister, Jennie (Cressler) Shellabarger, and her grandmother, Alsina (Carroll)Marshall.
