Margaret Alford, 76, of Waynesburg, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Double Springs Baptist Church by the Rev. Brad King.

Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. She died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital. Born July 16, 1927, in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Christian and Matilda Lademan Wyler.

She was an employee of American Greetings Co. and Waynesburg Grocery, and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church where she has been secretary and treasurer, Order of Eastern Star and Senior Citizens.

Survivors include her husband, J.W. Alford; three sons, William C. Alford of Lexington, James L. and Robert C. Alford, both of Waynesburg; a brother, Rudolph "Bud" Wyler of Stanford; four sisters, Ida Gover, Elizabeth Cooper and Rose Carrier, all of Stanford, and Carolyn Helton of Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Christopher and Bryson Alford, Joey Police, Eric Wooldridge, Julian Wall and Jeff Sims.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Friday at the church with an Eastern Star service at 7 p.m. Memorials may go to Heritage Hospice or Double Springs Baptist Church. Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
