Carlos Virgil Allen, 43, of Fort Defiance, Ariz., passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, 2013, in Albuquerque. Carlos was born May 17, 1970, in Fort Defiance, Ariz., the son of Perry Allen and Marie Tso Allen. He was born to the Tlogi, the Zia clan, and for the Todich'ii'nii, the Bitter Water clan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Perry Allen.
Carlos leaves behind his son, Justin Allen; daughter, Brandie Allen; mother, Marie Allen; brother, Ramon Allen; sister, Charlene Lizer; and four grandchildren.
A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. today, Sept. 5, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 414 N. Allen Ave. in Farmington, with Father Tim Farrell reciting.
The Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10 a.m., also at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Carlos will then be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery in Farmington.
Pallbearers are Craig Valdo, Joe Valdo, Jason Wauneka, Devin Lizer, Herman Upshaw and Aldon Jay Blackie.
