Randy Aversman, 56, of Malta Bend, formerly of Marshall and Waverly, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Corder Calvary Cemetery in Corder. Memorials may be made to family choice.

Born Dec. 10, 1953, in Warrensburg, he was the son of Louis Aversman Jr. who survives of Waverly and the late Minerva Jane Carroll Aversman. He was a 1972 graduate of Santa Fe High School and had lived in the Waverly, Marshall and Malta Bend areas his entire life. He was a developmental assistant at Marshall Habilitation Center for many years.

In addition to his father, he is survived by two sons, Craig Aversman and his wife, Crystal, of Waverly and Colby Aversman of Carrollton; four grandchildren, Caitlyn, Cassie, Marissa and Chloe; one brother, Terry Aversman of Waverly; one sister, Brenda Pannell and her husband, Tim, of New Cambria; his former wife, Letha Warner Aversman of Norborne; and several nieces and nephews.
