Bradley Jason Boyum

Bradley Jason Boyum died accidentally at his home on December 27, 1988.
He was born June 28, 1974, at Northfield. He lived with his parents and family his entire life at Lakeville.
Brad Boyum was a ninth grade student at McGuire Junior High School in Lakeville. During the past 10 years, he participated in hockey, baseball, basketball, soccer and football.
He was involved in the University Talented Youth Math Program. In 7th and 8th grade, he completed four years of high school math. As a ninth grader he was enrolled in a college level Honors Calculus class and would have received 10 college credits for the year as well as tow high school credits.
He had a great love of music and played the trumpet in the Panther Band, marching band and jazz band. He was also accomplished on the piano and keyboard. He enjoyed writing his own music.
He spent unending, tireless hours on his Apple home computer writing many of his own programs.
He attended Space Camp at the NASA Space Center in Huntsville, Ala., and looked forward to attending Space Academy as well.
He was fascinated by Lego, dinosaurs, Winnie-the Pooh, Star Wars, model rockets, motorcycles, 4-wheelers, snowmobiles, hunting, computers, books electronics and cribbage
Bradley the son of Paul and Mary Ann (Rowan) Boyum loved his family and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
