Bobby Cotoia was a founding member of the rock group John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band. He was the keyboardist. They formed the band in South County Rhode Island in the early 70s as kids. The bands big break came 10 years after forming when they were invited to write the music for the film "Eddie and The Cruisers". The song "On The Dark Side" hit double platinum. On February 26, 2012 John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band were inducted into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame.
