| Birth: | Feb. 17, 1975 | | Death: | Sep. 11, 2001 Manhattan New York County New York, USA | Simon Dedvukaj, 26, of Mohegan Lake, NY, died tragically at the attacks on the WTC. He was a janitorial foreman for ABM Industries & worked in the north tower. He was a well liked person, always making people laugh; thinking of others first & himself last. He was one of 8 children & always interested in his family's Albanian heritage. After his sister & her husband went to a wedding in Albania & saw a girl they thought would be perfect for him, he went there to meet her. Simon brought Elizabeth to the USA & they would have been married 1 year when he passed.
Although I've never met Simon personally, I feel as though I know him from all that I've read about him.
'Love' Is such a meagre word That says nothing of spirit to spirit Within spirit and flesh
And after... After...after...after.. O what does 'after' mean ?
A thousand years, a day, a moment
In which the moon is another home And the stars are small, brilliant poems.
A door will open Then quick and light steps From memory towards The nebula of unmemory
Inscription: "By God's Grace We Persevere" & "Biri i tradites shqiptare"
