Keat Nelson Thompson of Crestview died Saturday in a Fort Walton Beach hospital. He was 67.

Born in Orlando, Mr. Thompson lived in Gainesville and in Marietta, Ga., for many years before recently moving to Crestview. He was retired from the Cobb County Board of Education in Georgia. His religion was the Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Frazier Thompson of Crestview; three sons, Alan Dwight Thompson and Keat Lamar Thomspon, both of Jasper, Ga., and Gary Leslie Thompson of Crestview; three daughters, Mary Ann Andrews of Gainesville, Nora jean Joiner of Woodstock, Ga., and Amy Patricia Turner of Marietta, Ga.; six brothers, Ronnie Thompson, Gilbert Thompson and Stanley Thompson, all of Marietta, Ga., Perry Thompson of St. Louis and Dan Thompson and Nathan Thompson, both of Gainesville; a sister Thelda McAnnally of Gainesville; and five grandchildren.
