Writer. He was best known under the name of Curtis Garland, a prolific writer who left a legacy of more than 2,000 titles, so-called "kiosk novels" or "low price novels". He was one of the writers of the Spanish popular literature generation, along with others such as Corin Tellado, Marcial Lafuente Stephanie, Frank Caudet and Silver Kane. Closely linked to the Editorial Bruguera, who published until the 1980s its called paperbacks, dedicated to genres such as crime fiction, horror, science fiction, or Western. Among his most famous writings are: "La noche de América agonizante", "La noche del cerebro", "La noche del reptil", "Las balas matan pronto", "Medidas para un féretro" and "Tropicana de sangre". He also used other pseudonyms as Donald Curtis, Adisson Star, Dan Kirby, Elliot Turner, Frank Logan, Glenn Forrester, Juan Viñas, Jason Monroe, Javier, Javier de Juan, John Garland, Kent Davis, Lester Madox, Mark Savage, Martha Cendy, Jason Monroe, and Walt Sheridan.
