R&B Singer. He was a member of the legendary musical group The Delfonics from the early 1970's to 1974 and from the 1990's to 2000's. He made the rounds with several music groups in the 1960s, including the Charmers, the Teenagers and Nat Turner's Rebellion before joining the Delfonics in the early 1970s, replacing Randy Cain. Their recordings include "Hey Love" and "I Told You So" He was also associated with the Philadelphia soul sound. In 1974 he quit the group and pursued a solo career, his biggest hit was "Love Won't Let Me Wait" which was awarded a gold disc in 1975. In the 1990's he reunited with the Delfonics. He continued to tour with one of two ensembles during this time. He died from congestive heart and lung failure. (bio by: Babe)
