Freddie Garrity
Birth: Nov. 14, 1936
Death: May 19, 2006

Musician. The frontman for the famous British invasion rock group, "Freddie and the Dreamers," Freddie Garrity started his humble life as a milkman in the town of Manchester, England. Hits like "I'm Telling You Now" and "You Were Made For Me" topped the charts in the 1960's and brought critical acclaim to the group. Freddie was known for his energetic stage antics and his good humor.
It should be noted that when starting Freddie and the Dreamers, he gave his birthdate as November 14, 1940, to make himself appear younger; his actual birthday is November 14,1936.
