Rosemary Farmer Corry was a retired actress, artist, and playright. She was very active in children's theatre in New Orleans before moving to New York City in the 1940's. She acted in several stage and radio shows and modeled for the Ford Agency in magazines and fashion shows. She is best known for a New York stage show, producer Leonard Sillman's "New Faces of 1952", a musical revue whose cast featured future stars Eartha Kitt, paul Lynde, Carol Lawrence and Alice Ghostly. She returned to New Orleans in 1954, where she was active in local theater for many years, performing at Gallery Circle Theater, Le Petit Theatre, the Beverly Dinner playhouse and other venues. She wrote the book and lyrics for the children's musical "Cinderella and the Plastic Shoe". As well as writing several one act plays that were presented locally, she also appeared in many radio and TV commercials.  (bio by: Jennifer)
