Actor. He appeared television comedies such as "Cheers" and "Three's Company" to film dramas "Deliverance" and "The Client." His other appearances include " Kojak," "Roots," "Family Ties," "Dallas," "Murder She Wrote," "Designing Women," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "L.A. Law", "Fried Green Tomatoes," Aubry Draper in "Doc Hollywood" and Deputy Queen in "Deliverance," and many others. In 1997, he retired from acting after a having a heart attack, and passed away after having a series of mini strokes at the age of 72 years. (bio by: GW)
