Professional Baseball Player. He played ten seasons in the major leagues as a pitcher with the Brooklyn Robins, Chicago White Sox and Brooklyn Giants. He appeared in 192 during his major league career. He is best remembered for pitching in the longest game in major league history on May 1, 1920 against Joe Oeschger. The game was called after 26 innings with the score tied one to one. He finished his major league career with 68 wins and 72 losses. (bio by: Nils M. Solsvik Jr.)
