Professional Baseball Player. He compiled a 35-43 won-loss record spanning five seasons of major league baseball. Brabender was originally signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Dodgers in 1961. He played with the Baltimore Orioles, Seattle Pilots and Milwaukee Brewers. He was featured prominently in Jim Bouton's book "Ball Four," a chronicle of the 1969 Seattle Pilots baseball season.
