Archibald Atkinson

Death: Jan. 7, 1872, USA

United States Congressman. Representing Virginia as a Democrat from 1843 to 1849. He studied law at the College of William and Mary. A veteran of the War of 1812, he was a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, State Senator and prosecuting attorney for Isle of Wight County. (bio by: George Seitz)
