Mary Ann (Sissy) Boling was born on 11/27/1952 to Vernon & Helen Boling of Edmond, OK. Sissy was born with Down's syndrome. Because of a hole in her heart, she was not expected to live more than 3 years. Sissy defeated all odds in order to bless her family with 53 years of lessons in love. She loved to spend time outdoors. Sissy would sit for hours with a kitten or puppy in her lap. She smiled the biggest when Mom would catch her with her hand in the cookie jar. After several bouts of pneumonia she departed peacefully for heaven April 1st, 2006. Sissy is survived by her mother, Helen Boling of Edmond, two sisters Rose Isch & husband Mark of Edmond, and Donna Woodworth & husband Brent of Minco; two brothers David Boling of Boley, and Tommy Boling & wife Gina of Edmond; 7 aunts, 5 uncles, 14 nieces & nephews. Sissy is preceded in death by her Boling and Beck grandparents, father Vernon Boling & nephew Thomas Boling. In lieu of flowers please send memorial tree donations to Bethel Congregational Church, 2131 NW 234th St., Edmond, OK 73003. Funeral services will be April 4th at 10:00am at Baggerley Funeral Home with interment following at Whisler Cemetery.
