Graveside services for Lillie F. Baker, 91, were held Monday, May 22, 2000 at the Wellston Cemetery with Rev. Paul Rottenberry officiating.
Lillie was born on February 3, 1909, to Jim and Theo (Perry) Fisk and died Friday, May 19, 2000 at the Corn Heritage Village.
She married Elmer Baker in October, 1932, in Wellston. He preceded her in death. She taught at several schools in Lincoln County that included Happy Hill and Star Valley and at Crooked Oak School in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Waterloo Church of the Nazarene. She had lived in Corn for the past five years.
She is survived by one daughter, Theo Seaman of Carnegie, one son, Jim Baker of Virginia Beach, Virginia; four grandchildren, Charles Baker and his wife Krista, Nancy Stewart and her husband, Chris, Benjamin Baker all of Virginia Beach, Virginia and George Lee Seaman of Grand Prairie, Texas; one sister, Ethel Stewart of Visalia, California and numerous relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, an infant daughter, Cleo Mae Baker, and two sisters, Gertie Allenbaugh and Elsie Wolfe.
Services were under the direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home in Carnegie.
