Comanche - JEFFRY WAYNE BERRYHILL, 67, of Comanche, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005, at his home with his family in Comanche.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Dudley Funeral Home Chapel, Comanche, with Jack Hyatt officiating. Burial will be in Weavers Chapel Cemetery.
Jeff was born Oct. 8, 1938 in Springer, to Joseph and Thelma Berryhill. He worked for Halliburton for 30 years until his retirement. He married Phyllis Martin in Duncan on April 18, 1968.
He was a member of the Red, Red Rose, and served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman for four years. Jeff was baptized in Springer by Frank Mullins.
Survivors include three sons, Jesse Berryhill of Corum, Jeffry Berryhill of Meridian and Chad Berryhill of Comanche; seven grandchildren, Justice, Juhriee, Joseph, Selina, Jodi, Dalton and Dilan Berryhill; a brother, John Berryhill of Tucson, Ariz.; three sisters, Jo Thompson of Wynnewood, Jean Schwantes of Duncan and Judy Berryhill of Clearwater, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph "JC" and Thelma Berryhill; his wife of 34 years, Phyllis Berryhill; and a brother, James Franklin Berryhill.
Bearers will be Junior Ledford, Mark Ledford, Rick Shephard, Juan Turner, Dale Blaylock and Joe Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Dodd, Bob Gilmore, Bill Davis and Kelsey Avants.
