Clark Brown was originally buried in a cemetery for African Americans located three miles northwest of Tamaha in Section 7, Township 11 North, Range 22 East. His grave was moved to the Rose Lawn Vian South Cemetery (also known as the Vian Colored Cemetery) in Section 27, Township 12 North, Range 22 East in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma.
