Funeral services for Robert Franklin BRIGGS, 32 of Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Vian, will be held at noon Saturday at the First baptist Church in Vian, with the Revs. T.D. Drew and Eugene Wright officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home in Sallisaw. Mr. BRIGGS was born Aug. 24, 1967, in Sallisaw, to Nathaniel BRIGGS and Sandra Jean BRIGGS JONES. He died Monday, Jan. 3, 2000, in Brooklyn. Survivors include his mother, Sandra Jean JONES; his father, Nathaniel BRIGGS; four sisters, Josephine, Lenda, Chanesha and Ruby; and six brothers, Nathan, Eddie, Marco, David, Daniel and Willie James; Mr. BRIGGS was preceded in death by one brother, Richard BRIGGS.
