Daughter of Hiram and Sarah Catherine Fuller, was born in Ohio, June 17, 1875, and died March 17, 1941, at the Alva General Hospital age 65 years, nine months. She came with her parents to Barber County, Kansas, in 1885, later coming to Oklahoma in 1893. She was united in marriage to Charles E. Beeton on December 25, 1896. To this union were born five children-two boys and three girls, the oldest boy, Earl, dying in infancy. They had made their home on the claim or homestead since the opening of the Cherokee Strip. She was converted to the Christian faith in Jesus Christ in 1890, and joined the Methodist church at Medicine Lodge, Kan. On coming to Oklahoma she became a member of the United Brethren in Christ at the old Bethany church south of Alva, then on Sept. 12, 1931, united with the U.B. church a Dacoma, where she was a member until her death. Mrs. Beeton lived a consecrated, consistent Christian life, and her faith in God made her a patient sufferer. Survivors are the husband, E.E. Beeton; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Mosshart, Mrs Mary Maddox and Mrs. Ethel Raymer, all of Alva; one son, Homer; also three sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Sayers, Cherokee, Mrs. Sadie Norman, Konowa, Okla., and Mrs. Rider of Manchester, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Zona Mae and Jimmie Mosshart and Glenn Maddox; Five brothers, Abe Fuller of Medicine Lodge, Kan., Dave Fuller of Wichita, Kan.,Bob Fuller, Ellis, Kan., Will Fuller, Emporia, Kan., and Orus Fuller, Cherokee. Three Brothers and two sisters preceded her in death, and there are a host of friends and neighbors to mourn her loss. She was a great pioneer a loving wife, a good neighbor, and a friend to all.
