Calvin C Battle

Birth: Jun. 6, 1932
Death: Apr. 19, 1995

On April 19th Calvin and his wife, Peola, went to the
Social Security office in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building to apply for
disability assistance because he had recently suffered a stroke. Since Calvin
could not drive, Peola drove him to his appointment. Calvin worked as a
machinist for Corken International. He attended the Church of the Living God
Temple 234. He was the father of four daughters and a son. Calvin and his wife
Peola were both killed in the bombing.

Calvin grew up in Luther, OK, the son of Mollie & Lewis Battle. Calvin was a
graduate of Washington High School in Luther. Calvin was a third degree Mason
with Luther lodge No. 13. His 30 year tenure with Corken International ended
with his illness in 1993.
