The Carnegie Herald, Wed., Aug. 17, 1932
On Saturday, August 6, Deacon Akoneto of Saddle Mountain was called to his heavenly home. He was one of the first laymen of the Saddle Mountain mission. He had been in poor health for the past five years and has spent much of these five years in hospitals. Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the mission. Missionary Jackson was in charge. Many of his friends and relatives attended and brought flowers. Everyone who knew him loved him, for he had love and a friendly smile for everyone. He had a good earthly home and a beautiful home awaiting him in the great beyond. We will miss him greatly.
