A.C. Campbell, 63 years, 2 months and 3 days, died suddenly as the result of a stroke of apoplexy, at his home here about 10:30 o'clock Sunday night. He had been ailing for a considerable time with Bright's disease, but until suddenly stricken, was apparently as well as he had been for months past.
He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Margaret, Alice, Cora, and Viola; two sons, Taylor and John; a brother, of near Fairview, besides other relatives.
The family has resided here since last fall and Mr. Campbell operated a filling station at the northeast corner of town in partnership with his father-in-law, Mr. Gobageo. They moved here from near Cleo.
Funeral services were held at the home at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning. Burial was made in the Rusk cemetery near Fairview.
