Jack Daily, age 80, of Sand Springs passed away Sunday afternoon at his home in Sand Springs with his family at his side.

Mr. Daily was born in Braggs, Oklahoma the son of John and Grace (Gunn) Daily. He spent his earlier years in both the Braggs and Tahlequah areas. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was united in marriage to Margie Parris on March 1, 1947. She preceded him in death in 2005. He worked as a Molder for Gasso Pump Company in Tulsa. He had lived in Sand Springs since 1949. He was a member of the True Baptist Church of Sand Springs where he served as a Deacon and Choir Director. He enjoyed fishing, listening to Blue Grass Gospel Music and spending time with his family.

Jack is survived by a sister Lillie Mae Manes and husband Troy of Tahlequah and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a sister Marie Beck of Sand Springs.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at the True Baptist Church in Sand Springs with the Bobbie Beck officiating and Pastor John T. Collins officiating. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Parris Cemetery in Cherokee County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Mobley-Dodson Funeral Service of Sand Springs.
