Larry Robert Arbuckle, 46, of Leesville, La., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Nov. 16, 1993, at a school near Leesville where he was an instructor. Mr. Arbuckle's mother, the former Leona Neff, grew up in Bucklin, Linn Co., MO., and his late father, R. L. Arbuckle, was from New Cambria. His grandparents were Charley and Trella Neff of Bucklin and Marceline, and Robert and Anna (Busse) Arbuckle of the High Hill community. Larry Robert was born in Bucklin. He was never married. He was a veteran of the Armed Forces.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Leona and Ralph Beckwith, Grove, Okla.; two brothers, Terry Gene Arbuckle, now serving with the armed Forces in Germany, and Duane Beckwith, Grove, Okla.; four sisters, Sharon Eskew and Barbara Maher, Tulsa, Okla., Sandy Christiansen, Grove, Okla., and Pamela Trimble, Tuscaloosa, Ala.; and several cousins who reside in the Bucklin community. Services were held Monday afternoon, Nov. 22, in Grove, Okla., with burial at Grove Cemetery. A memorial service was held Thursday at the school where he had taught for 13 years.
