Mrs. Allen, of Blanco, died Monday at McAlester. She was 54 and had been a lifelong resident of Pittsburg County. She was the daughter of Clifford and Iva Meyer Staires. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lee Mitchell, on Oct. 21, 1981. In July 1990 she married Stanley Allen in Blanco. She is survived by her husband, Stanley, of Blanco; a son and daughter in law, Robert and Elizabeth Mitchell of Mcalester; a sister, Juanetta Johnson of Kiowa; a half-sister, Karen Underwood of Tulsa; and a half brother, Clifford T. Staires of Pittsburg. Funeral services were held Friday, March 6, 1992 at Kiowa Pentecostal Church under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service. Interment at Kiowa Cemetery.
