Harriet Virginia "Jenny" Allison Harp was Cal's younger sister. When their parents died escaping the War (Battle of Massard Prairie) to Fort Scott, Kansas (where Cal was stationed with the 14th Kansas Cavalry), Jenny lived with Cal and Martha in Fort Smith after the Civil War for a number of years probably until she married. Their brother Wiley Allison also lived with them in the absence of their parents.
I am one of dozens maybe even hundreds of Jenny's descendants. She is my two times great-grandmother.
