We celebrate the life of Wayne Anderson, age 75 of Thackerville, OK, who went to his eternal peace on Thursday, February 18, 2016.

Wayne was a lifetime resident of Irving, TX until he made his home in Thackerville, OK in 2004. He loved this community and had many friends here.

His passion for golf made him many friends at Lake Country Golf Course in Ardmore.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Jackie, of 57 years; and five children, Brenda McCoy, Cindy Pullman, Amy Peterson, Sandra Anderson, and Derell Anderson; sons-in-law, Ronnie McCoy, Tom Pullman, Patrick Carrithers, and David Peterson; and two brothers, Joel and David Anderson.

He was blessed with 10 grandchildren, Misty Moss, Joseph Bagnuolo, Kenny McCoy, Veronia McCoy, Amanda Langston, Asa Peterson, Stephanie DePriest, Jacklyn Reed, Rachel Strait, and Kimberly Costa; 17 great-grandchildren from ages 15 months to 18 years; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Wayne loved life and the home he had made for himself in Thackerville while he also left a lifetime of memories in his home community of Irving.

He was known as an honest man with a hard work ethic, a good provider and a man who had the genius ability to fix anything!
