MILO -- Graveside services for Rachel Lucille Mauldin Butler, 87, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2005, at Milo Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Griffin officiating. Born on Sept. 15, 1918, in Roundup, Okla., to Charles Daniel and Rose Lee Mauldin, she died on Sept. 19, 2005, in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Leon Butler on April 10, 1991; her parents, two sisters, three brothers, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, other loved ones and dear friends.
She was raised in this area and married to W.R. "Fred" Butler on Oct. 8, 1936, in Milo. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1998. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include six sons, Bobby Butler, Ardmore, Charles Butler, Graham, Donald Butler, Ardmore, Kenneth Butler, Sallisaw, Larry Butler, Sapulpa, and Ronald Butler, Hydro; two daughters, Louise Murray, Hydro, and Sharon Harris, Clemscott; two sisters, Daisy Butler, Ardmore, and Wilma Joy Holder, Richardson, Texas; 28 grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a host of other family members and friends.
Spivey Funeral Home will direct services.
