Kevin Williams will share words of comfort. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Thursday, Sept. 22 from 4 to 7p.m. Nancy passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011. She was 89.

Born Oct. 2, 1921, in Pryor, Nancy was the daughter of Albert H. and Alice Mae (Collier) Thompson. She grew up and received her education in the Pryor area. She married Fred Warren Brannon on Jan. 14, 1939, in a Pryor wedding ceremony. Four children blessed this union. The Brannon family made Mayes County their home throughout their years together. Nancy moved to Catoosa in 1968, where she resided until her passing.

Though her home and family was her job of priority, she also enjoyed the many years she worked at Wal-Mart.

Nancy's faith was the richest facet of her life. As a charter member of Lone Chapel Church she laid the foundation of Christian belief for her family. Through the years she enjoyed working in the Women's Missionary Group. Nancy was currently a devoted member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.

Those family members who survive Nancy are her children, Betty Garner and husband W. R. of Tulsa, Edna Riley of Boulder, Colo., Rosie Hunter and husband Robert of Locust Grove and Kenneth Brannon and wife Linda of Pryor; beloved grandchildren Darla Miller and husband Greg, Bradley Riley and wife Julie, Dwain Garner and wife Holley, Kimberly Bateman and husband Tom, Christy Richards and husband Patrick and Suzanne Lawrence and husband Mike; and 19 great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, husband, Fred who died Aug. 29, 1996, her sisters Alvie Thompson, Dorothy Hendrickson, Cora Brannon and Alberta Victory
