LONE GROVE -- Services for Pearlene Beavers, 78, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Lone Grove with the Rev. Ron Elmore officiating. Burial will be at Keller Cemetery.

Born April 19, 1925, to Frank and Florence Glover in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, she died Dec. 5, 2003, at her residence in Lone Grove. She married Robert Beavers on Nov. 29, 1940, in Dillard. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Carl Glover; sisters, Dolly Glover, Wanda Turner and Paulene Guthrie.

Mrs. Beavers had been a Lone Grove resident most of her life. She was an LPN with the hospital in Hobbs, N.M. While living in Lone Grove, she worked with Dr. Schuler. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lone Grove.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Thomas; son, Thomas Ray Beavers; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene and Grady Glover; and sisters, Mabelle McDaniel and Peggy Brady.

Bearers will be Gary Croswait, Derek Hallum, David Hatley, Woody Potts, Joe Word and Jim Goss. Honorary bearers will be Henry Burton, Kenny Watkins, Darrell Williams and Harold Newman.
