Birth: 1765
Death: 1873

Assumed the name "Kernel" from his master & the name "King" from his stature as he stood over 6' tall. Birth year may be 1765 as he is said to have died at the age of 108, however it is unclear if the 1785 birth year listed in the source is King's or his daughter, Rachel Lewis.

Came to Indian Territory with the Creek emigration of 1832 as a slave owned by Sookey Kernel, a Creek Slave owner.

Also known as the McIntosh Cemetery.
Also known as the Old Fountain or Fountain Church Cemetery.
