LONE GROVE -- Services for Michael Earl Allison, 60, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Lone Grove Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Gary Gunsolus officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Ardmore, under the direction of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 21, 1941, in Ardmore, to the late Willie T. and Lucille E. Clayton Allison, he died Jan. 7, 2002, at the local hospital.

A resident of Ardmore most of his life, he worked for Total Petroleum for 13 years and also for Allison Oil Corporation as a driver and painter. He served in the National Guard for six years. He and Cindy Pearl Mahurin were married in September 1965 in Modesto, Calif. He was preceded in death by his wife on Oct. 12, 1996; two brothers, Fred and Clayton.

He is survived by two sons, Mike, Ardmore, and John, Fort Sill; two daughters, Lori Newton, Lone Grove, and Candi Jordan, Springer; two brothers, Jerry and Charles, both of Ardmore; a sister, Alice Love, Modesto, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Bearers will be Jim Day, Jerry Carpenter, Eddy Parrott, Alfred Peoples, Matt and Clay Allison.
