Funeral services were held Wednesday, Decenber 7, at Fellowship Baptist Church in Perryton with Wes Stevens officiating. Burial was in Gray Cemetery in Balko, Oklahoma, under the direction of Boxwell Brothers funeral Home.
He was born June 29, 1931. He worked for Stromberg-Carlson Telephone Company as an installer for over 30 years, before retiring in Billings, Montana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn H. and Doleta (Gross) BAKER.
He is survived by three sons, Brent V. BAKER of Lake Jackson, Stephen BAKER of Bearcreek, North Carolina and Phillip BAKER of Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Redana NAREG of Riverside, California and Dion Michelle SANDOVAl of Mather, California; three brothers, Leroy BAKER of Perryton, Edwin R. BAKER of Sugarland and Harrison Dewayne BAKER of Amarillo; one sister, Dora Mae GREEN of Kernyville, West Virginia; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society, 2405 Utica Lane, Perryton, TX 79070; or to the Leukemia Foundation, North Texas Chapter, 8111 LBJ Freeway, Suite 425, Dallas, TX 74251.
