McLoud resident Thomas Monroe Daughty, 73, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, in McLoud.
He was born June 5, 1934, in McLoud to Mose and Prudence Doughty.
He served in U.S. Air Force for 21 years and served in both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retiring from the Air Force he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 15 years.
Thomas showed great strength, courage, and determination in his daily life. He always had a smile on his face and never complained. Our lives will never be the same without him, he shall remain in our hearts and memories forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Supa Daughty.
He will be greatly missed by his son, Terry Daughty; sisters, Barbara Doughty, Lois Lee, Faye Doughty, Evelyn Doughty, and Carol Anderson; brother, Don Doughty; step-children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Service will be 10 a.m. today at McLoud Church of Christ with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Newalla.
