J.B. Anderson of Elmore dies
John Baster Anderson, 82, was found dead Saturday afternoon at his home three
miles southwest of Elmore City. He was born in Mississippi and moved to Texas as
a boy. He came to Garvin
County about 50 years ago and lived in the Foster and Elmore City areas since.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Foster school with
Rev. J.M. McDonnold of Elmore City First Baptist church officiating.
Burial was in the Foster cemetery under direction of Vaughn Funeral
Home.
Survivors include a nephew, V.A. DeLeon of Houston, Texas, another
nephew and two nieces.
